PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK DI LINGKUNGAN MASYARAKAT SEBAGAI ALAT TANAM DAN PUPUK KOMPOS GUNA MEMINIMALISIR PENGGUNAAN OBAT KIMIA DI DESA BUMI RESTU, PALAS, LAMPUNG SELATAN

Abstract

Waste is a problem that exists in many areas, it is also felt by the South Lampung area. The purpose of this devotional activity is to train KWT members and village communities to understand how to process existing waste into planting tools and compost fertilizer. Utilization of organic and inorganic waste as an effective planting tool and compost fertilizer in addition to saving, its use also has a positive impact on improving ecosystem balance and supporting environmentally friendly agriculture. Composting can be done conventionally or fermented using bioactivators whose result is compost, which is an organic fertilizer. This experiment aims to examine the utilization of plastic waste and vegetable waste, against the growth and yield of medicinal plants and vegetables using hydroponic methods. The assessment was conducted in the village hall of bumi restu, Palas, south Lampung. The results showed that the provision of organic fertilizer from vegetable waste has an influence on the high growth components of plants.
