Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Privacy Statement

Jurnal Inovasi Pembelajaran IPS is a scholarly journal committed to upholding publication ethics standards at every stage of the publishing process. This ethics statement is formulated based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to serve as a reference for authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher in maintaining the integrity and credibility of scholarly publications.

Author Responsibilities:

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is an original work, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
Authors are responsible for the authenticity of the content and must avoid all forms of plagiarism, including duplication and redundant publication.
Authors must accurately cite sources and provide appropriate acknowledgment of the work of others.
All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research must be listed as co-authors.
Authors are required to present accurate information regarding data, methods, and research results honestly and transparently.
If errors or inaccuracies are discovered after publication, authors are obliged to cooperate with the editor to make corrections or retract the article.

Editor Responsibilities:

Editors are responsible for the entire publication process and have the authority to determine which manuscripts are suitable for publication based on the results of scholarly review.
Editors must ensure that every manuscript is evaluated objectively, regardless of the author's race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political views.
Editors are required to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding manuscripts currently under review.
Editors must recuse themselves from publication decisions if there is a conflict of interest involving the author, reviewers, or specific institutions.
Editors are responsible for ensuring that the publication process is fair, transparent, and in accordance with scholarly ethical standards.

Reviewer Responsibilities:

Reviewers assist the editor in determining the suitability of a manuscript for publication through an objective and constructive peer review process. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript's content and refrain from using the information obtained for personal gain or for the benefit of other parties.
Reviewers must avoid conflicts of interest and promptly notify the editor if any potential conflict of interest arises during the review process.
Reviewers are expected to provide scholarly feedback that is honest, clear, and timely to assist authors in improving the quality of their work.

Publisher's Responsibilities:

The publisher of Jurnal Inovasi Pembelajaran IPS is responsible for ensuring that the entire publication process is conducted professionally and adheres to the principles of scientific integrity.
The publisher collaborates with editors, reviewers, and authors to uphold academic integrity, prevent ethical misconduct, and address any reports of violations in a transparent and proportionate manner.
The publisher is committed to providing open access to all published articles to support the broad and responsible dissemination of scientific knowledge.
