Beneficiary Participation in Decision Making on The CSR Programs of PT. PLN IP UBP Barito in Banjarmasin 2022–2023

This study aims to analyze the level of beneficiary participation in decision-making regarding the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs of PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito, as well as its relationship with the spatial characteristics of the assisted area in Banjarmasin City. The method employed is a descriptive quantitative survey. The target population and sample consisted of 99 beneficiaries from four CSR programs, selected using a census sampling technique. The data are collected using a Likert scale-based questionnaire measuring four participation indicators: decision-making, implementation, evaluation, and enjoying results. Results indicate that the level of community participation is in the high to very high category. The findings show potential for a substantive partnership (co-governance) between the community and program implementers. The geographical condition of Banjarmasin City has influenced the formation of local and collaborative participation. The implication of these findings is that future CSR strategies must be tailored to local geographic characteristics to ensure sustainable impact.
